SVG, AJAX & Mapserver

Sorry, I haven't been really specific enough. It's probably because  
it's still
somwhat nebulous for me.

I am aware of the fact that Mapserver does allow SVG output. (Although
I haven't seen many applications doing it yet. Would be nice to have  
a SVG
gallery or so on the MMS site.)

I guess that for AJAX, it doesn't really matter if it's an image or  
vectors
which are being displayed. But here, I am not too sure about it. With  
the
image it works (I have an example installed on my machine), but does
it work as well with SVG?

Did anyone give it already a try?
