WMS/WFS and no geometry in GML output

Hi list,

referring to Steve Lime's e-mail 23-05-2006 with the subject "WFS without geometry", I wondered if it is possible to have WMS GetFeatureInfo not output the geometries, but have WFS output them? This would be a common use-case in my opinion.

Now the tag is GML_GEOMETRIES "none", but this would require WMS_GEOMETRIES and WFS_GEOMETRIES, so that WMS and WFS can be seen separately. Any thoughts?
