Debian Linux - Mapserver and Mapscript

Hello List

I am running Debian linux (sarge) and have installed Apache(1.3.33), PHP4
(4.3.10-18) and Mapserver (4.4.1) as supplied by the Debian package
management system.

Mapserver works just fine with the exception of Mapscript which doesn't
come as part of the Debain package.

Is there a way to install Mapscript on this version of Mapserver? ... if
so, how do I proceed?
