Compiling windows mapserver with mygis/mysql support

It looks like GDAL won't support MySQl until 1.3.2 (ogrinfo detected my
geometry column as a string despite the fact that I populated the
geometry_columns table).  What was the last version of MapServer that
supported MySQL geometry types before support ended?

As far as I know native mysql support is no more sustained due to the
lack of activity of the contributor. You might want to use GDAL/OGR
instead.
