raster maps and mapserver

Hi!
 
How can i view raster map with mapserver directly from grass location
without creating GEOTIF images?
My rasters are contains float data.

Configuration:
- Fedora core 3
- grass60 and 61 installed from binary package
- mapserver-4.6 installed from binary package

N.B. mapserver examples are running, but ./mapserv -v did not produce any
output
