installing hostgis

Hi out there,

 

has anyone in this list ever tried to use hostgis (www.hostgis.com
<http://www.hostgis.com/> )? Found it yesterday and have problems with
cfdisk to make partitions (i.e. swap can not be formatted).

Any help is useful!
