Line Style

Hi everybody,
I've seen many many samples of line style, but not the one for what I'm trying to do:

Here's a simple line:
----------------------------------------

Here's what I want to do:
¦----------------------------------------¦

adding a vertical line at the beginning and the end of a line.

Do someone has an idea??
