imagemap output mode no longer working with 4.10

Hi,

I have been using the imagemap output driver since mapserver 4.6 without 
issue. Today, after updating to 4.10 I notice that the only result from a 
mapfile, rendered with phpmapscript, and using the imagemap output driver is:

<map name="map1" width="450" height="500">
</map>

if i switch the output driver to PNG, I get the expected results.

any ideas on this ?
