Precache image quality

I am using precache.php to create the precache tiles. but the image quality is 
not as good when the tiles are generated on the fly.
but it seems both are using same tile.php.
How the quality improvement can be done of precache tile image ?

I am using
MapServer 5.0.0
PHP: 5.2.5
Oracle version: 10.2.0.2
OS : RHEL 4.6 AS x86_64
