Save mapObj

Hi, I need to save the mapObj and I'm trying with the function 'save':
$map->save('mapFileTemp.map') 
But its allows me a limited number of layers and for that when I use this
function its give me a error for that limit.
I know the 'INCLUDE' in mapfile, but I don't know use this in PHP/Mapscript.
Can you give me some alternative?
