php/mapscript Unable to load dynamic library php_mapscript.so

it seems that php is looking in
/usr/local/php5/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-
20060613/ to find mapscript instead of /usr/local/php5/lib/php/extensions

check your extension_dir and maybe the php.ini really used by the system
(visible in the phpinfo() table)
