wms layer problem

hi,
        here is an example about wms layer
http://biometry.gis.umn.edu/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/data/www/ms101/layer_wms.map&layer=modis&mode=map
        but when I try it with my mapserver, I can't work. i think maybe there is something wrong with my mapserver. I use the ms4w.
        I can get it work with the local data.
        can anybody tell me what's wrong?
