Layer Order and Labels

I have a feature on m MapServer where someone can geocode and address
and plot that on the map. The problem I have is that most often the
street name label covers up the point(symbol). How can I force the point
to be over top the street layers label. I've already got the point set
as the top most layer in my mapfile. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.
