label offset binding

Hi,

I would like to set the position of single labels on a map.
A solution could be that of binding the label offset x and y parameters to one or two fields of the layer, so that each label has its own offset.
Looking in the mapserver docs, I did not find a way to bind the label offset.
Is it possible or/and of interest to add in a future release this binding or is it incompatible with the label managment?
