In this case feature is probably a point and feature coordinates and
bbox are the same but perhaps a point should be introduced as a point as
well?

The features are placenames.
I have tried these geometry types before: POINT, LINESTRING, POLYGON ...
 nothing works really. For some placenames a point would be a proper
representation, for some a polygon.
