Does shapeobj->union exist in php-mapscript

I'm not sure why, but I see that it's called union_geos() in the source 
code. Perhaps try that and report here whether that works. Or even 
better, please file a ticket in http://trac.osgeo.org/mapserver/ about 
the inconsistency.
