Hi,

Some of you perhaps always get errors like "343252.2264458 is not a valid floating point value" when you use MSCompanion to open an existing mapfile. The reason is that mapserver use "." as Decimal Separator, but the system setting of your computer is some other characters, e.g. ",". Before the next version is available, to fix this problem, you have to change your system settings as following:

Control Panel -> Locale and Language , please find seetings for numbers, change the Decimal Separator setting from ","(or other) to "."

The beta2 of version 1.0 will fix this problem and be available in 1 week.

Then restart MSCompanion, the error should not come out again.

Regards,
Enri.
