Hello,

I recommend that you spend some effort reading through the entire 
'MapServer Debugging' document: 
http://www.mapserver.org/optimization/debugging.html I know myself that 
I refer to that document often, as I'm trying to see error messages and 
logs from the various parts of the MapServer family.
