[Marketing] communicating progress

Want to talk about how we should be communicating our progress thus far -
what options do we have? Email (sigh) discuss at osgeo.org, news item on
osgeo.org (and then broadcast via twitter), website (updating the progress
page.

Everyone has been working hard and we *do* have progress to report after
all. It is hard without a visual (but everything is tied down under
commercial in confidence). Do you think we could ask the vendor if we can
show EOI their cover page / logo?
