+1 for doing it and get feedback later.

If you and Barend could make a small write up about what needs to be done,
We could bring it up in the next OSGeo Board meeting. For sure, we need 
to have an
Editorial Team and update outdated information. Would be nice if we can 
have a
journal coverpage designed and also show the OSGeo logo on the journal 
page.
