[Journal] Current interest level in OSGeo Journal?

Barend, thank you for answering the email from Eli, I agree that there seems to be no volunteers to pursue this effort, the conference papers were published through other means, mostly special issues of indexed journals,
but it would be useful to give heads-up on OSGeo discuss that the mail list is going to be closed and the past issues will be archived - I cc-d Peter here maybe he has some suggestions 
on suitable repository.
