Hi Ed :)

I'm contacting you for two reasons:
* It seems that OSGeo Oceania was not receiving emails from the OSM
Foundation Advisory Board (advisoryboard at osmfoundation.org). You will be
receiving future emails on this email address, unless you would like
another email address to be used. In that case, just let me know :)
* An OSM Foundation Advisory Board meeting is being planned for May 2023
(more info below).

*# OSMF Advisory Board meeting*

   - *Proposed date and time*: Tuesday 9 May 2023  at 15:30 UTC

   We're checking if this works for most Advisory Board representatives. If it
   doesn't work for you, please let me know.
   - *Meeting room*: https://osmvideo.cloud68.co/user/dor-xfp-n4t-nuw  It
   will open ~30' before the meeting starts. I put some information for
   joining below and just let me know if you need any help.
   - *Proposed agenda*: The first topic of discussion will be the
   development of the OSMF strategic plan. Craig Allan (OSMF board), Sarah
   Hoffmann (OSMF board), and Allan Mustard (previous OSMF chairperson) have
   been working on pulling this together, and are preparing to consult the
   community, so input from the Advisory Board members is important. They'll
   send ahead draft documents to review, and they will be discussed in the
   call. If you would like to suggest any additional topics for the agenda,
   just let me know :)

*## Camera activation*
If you would like to activate your camera during the meeting feel free, but
it is not required. Thank you :)

*# Low internet connection speed*
If you experience unusually slow internet connection issues during the
meeting, you can deactivate the videos of the other participants by
pressing the 3 dots on the top-right of the black window, going to
"settings" and then "data savings".

*# Testing microphone/audio*
You might want to go through the microphone/audio test of BigBlueButton
(which occurs before one joins a video room) well in advance.

   - It is recommended to create a free account at the OSMF BigBlueButton
   instance https://osmvideo.cloud68.co/ (if you don't have one), where a
   "home" video room will be created for you and you can test all the settings
   in advance.
   - If you don't hear yourself or the test sound during the audio test,
   please select "no" and choose a different hardware option from the
   drop-down list.

We can also do a test run before the meeting.
