Hi everyone,

First of all I would like to congratulate all Founding Members on this 
very interesting initiative :-)

Just a few words about me... My educational background is physical 
geography, with specialisation in hydrology and water management. In 
additional I took part in the UNIGIS Postgraduate Studies. In 2008 I 
started to work in UNEP/GRID-Warsaw Centre. Since then I moved a little 
bit from typical science to education (environmental and science 
education as well as geoeducation). I'm responsible for coordinating 
educational activities of our Centre - those focused on geoinformation 
(we are one of the ICA-OsGeo Labs) but also environmental and science 
education (for example an international GLOBE Program www.globe.gov). 
I'm a GI trainer and curriculum developer. In 2014 I was elected as a 
vice-president of the EUROGEO (European Association of Geographers) - 
international NGO widely promoting use of geoinformation, in particular 
open data and open source software, not only among geographers but also 
people involved in related disciplines.
