the question is: are there (future) uses for that within the
OpenLayers library? If yes, responseJSON is a very convenient way to
handle JSON responses. If not, application devalopers will use the
JSON parsers of the frameworks they are using anyway (like prototype,
dojo, extjs or whatever).
