Perfectly valid reason :) Just wanted to point out that backporting/installing 
stuff from other/newer (official) repositories is much simpler, cleaner and 
safer than it used to be (as in less than 10 lines total and not borking your 
existing packages in the process).  If you need gdal 1.5 or pgrouting on an 
etch or hardy machine, pbuilder is your best friend anyway :)
