[OpenLayers-Dev] OpenLayers and prototype

Hi,

OpenLayers was originally built on the prototype library but it used
very little of the library and has since been moved off it by moving
the code that it did rely on into the OpenLayers library. It should
allow you to work with prototype. If there are specific errors that
you are running into, please file them as tickets or post them here so
we can resolve them.

Cheers,

Paul
