[OpenLayers-Dev] Geonetwork and Openlayers/Mapfish?

Hi Cameron,

Indeed It is true that we had a look on it. We integrated Openlayers in
Geonetwork in order to perform geographical search, defining bbox criteria
using Openlayers. We also looked into the georss search in Geonetwork,
displaying results in Openlayers.
For specific needs, we implemented Openlayers as WMS viewer in Geosource
(GeoNetwork including profil for France).

Openlayers, at this time, does not provide Intermap advanced functionnality
such as PDF printing, web map context and map annotations, this is a current
limitation.

Concerning Mapfish, there is no plan to integrate it as a GUI for Geonetwork
but interaction between both will probably be developed in the coming month.
