Are you looking at http://trac.openlayers.org/ticket/1766 ? If so, this
bug is not present in OpenLayers 2.7 -- it was introduced in SVN trunk
shortly after the release.

If you are not talking about #1766, can you give a pointer to what
you're talking about? I'm not aware of any other issues with markers not
changing locations on zoom.
