 The above patch does not change the WFST format - it would have been
 possible to extend the readers according to the outputFormat, but only for
 GML2 and GML3. For JSON, it is always necessary to set the readFormat on
 the protocol, and it seemed more logical to have only one place
 responsible - especially if support for more non-GML outputFormats is to
 be added later.

 Tests pass in Safari5. Thanks for any review.
