 Greetings.

I am trying to place an image as an overlay, but it appears to be
 misaligned in OpenLayers (v 2.9.1, and 2.10).

I am comparing this to the same image displayed as a layer in Google
Earth, and Google Maps to what I'm seeing in OL. A confirming piece of
information is a tornado that struck Cincinnati, AR.

Please take a look at the following two websites:

 http://ondemand.nssl.noaa.gov/Sandbox/openlayers_testImageOverlay.php

 and

 http://ondemand.nssl.noaa.gov/Sandbox/googlemaps_testImageOverlay.php

Note the difference in the "hotter" colors. I believe the Google Maps
display is accurate. (These are radar indicated rotation and Cincinnati,
AR is in the middle of the image - between the "59"s)

The OL layer appears to be misplaced about 10 km to the north. I have
spent the past few days trying to determine if it is a projection issue or
 not.

 Many thanks for feedback.

 -kevin.
