Comment:

 This bug is a regression introduced in [11881] since we need to redraw the
 canvas even if the feature geometry is outside the renderer extent or
 style is display:none, because they need to be removed from the canvas
 element in both cases.

 So I close this ticket and reopen ticket #3224.
