 i like the scaleline control, but it took me hours to figure out why i
 cannot click the map in the area below the scaleline control (way down to
 the bottom of the map). i now use the css setting pointer-events:none; for
 the control.

 as scaleline does not have any click features anyways, maybe one should
 define this as default
