 There are still problems, notably multiline labels which I've managed to
 get around. I would like to look more thoroughly at this over the next few
 days and will let you know how I get on. The main problem is related to
 the way that textpath draws along the centre/middle of the shape rather
 than the baseline like textbox. There are some issues related to creating
 the elements that limits access to clientHeight leading to the use of
 textSize as a substitute.
