[OpenLayers-Users] onclick event blocks doubleclick

Hello list,

I am configuring my query function in the following way in the body tag:

onload="init(); map.events.register('click', map, query_panel);"

In the consequence, at least under firefox the doubleclick gets completely
blocked, no matter how fast I try to double-click.
Is there any configuration parameter that allows to set the timeout of the click
events to a more sloppy value in order to allow double clicks in spite of a
registered single click event?
