[OpenLayers-Users] StyleMap

I'm working on StyleMap for a vector layer, I see that is possible to 
set up the graphicWidth and graphicHeight property
for esternalGrafic imaage but I didn't find something similar for 
backgraundGraphic image.

Is possible or the dimentions of background image is set to graphic's?
