[OpenLayers-Users] Curious Problem with TMS on an HTTPS site
calling to HTTP for TileCache and IE8

I have encountered an unexpected issue with the TMS layer. A website I am
programming for is using https for the web server but we have a shared set
of imagery servers that serve to that project and several others using plain
old http. When clicking to enable the layer OpenLayers (I'm assuming due to
some sort of IE8 issue) refusing to select on the first attempt. The second
click for the layer works just fine but no request for layers is sent off to
the imagery servers and no javaScript error is to be found anywhere. When I
do a WMS request off the same exact server in this setup it loads just fine.
Is there something special about the TMS layer that might be causing this to
happen?
Please note that this is ONLY happening in IE8, I haven't duplicated it in
IE7 or Firefox 3.5.
