[OpenLayers-Users] difference between OpenLayers.Layer.WMS and OpenLayers.Layer.MapServer?

Please don't use Layer.MapServer unless you have to. It is really only
there for pople who are uanble to configure the server side of their
MapSever to act as a WMS, and it will cause you more pain than you will
gain.
