[OpenLayers-Users] SLD questions

Hello,

I have a few questions about SLD if anyone is kind enough to answer...I
think this is the right mailing list but not 100% positive...it was between
this list of geoserver-users.
I checked the SLD schema but the description on there did not seem very
clear.

What does:SemanticTypeIdentifier do?  I have a generic:geometry in there but
don't really know what it's supposed to do.
