[OpenLayers-Users] Background image on a vector

I'm just playing with this too ... all the styles that you can set are  
listed at the bottom of Layer/Vector.js

It is possible to specify a backgroundGraphic but I don't know if it  
only applies if you are using an externalGraphic or if it will be  
rendered for all vectors.
