[OpenLayers-Users] IE8 not switching Google layers

I have set up map using Google for the base layers (Streets, Sattelite and
Hybrid) and my own WMS overlay.

It all works great until I add "resolutions" to my overlay so that it is
only visible at certain resolutions, then in IE 8 switching Google layers
does not display the new layer until the map is resized.
