[OpenLayers-Users] Calculating zoom level from an area

[MostlyBaldEagle]

I need to figure out what zoom level to use to be able to fully see a
rectangular area bound by max latitude + longitude and min latitude +
longitude.

Anybody ever done this? Any hints would be appreciated
