[OpenLayers-Users] Problem displaying basic shapefile.....

ok i got the above problem sorted out. Now the thing is as I try to overlay
the shapefile over the basemap {google maps}, somehow a white  background is
covering the entire base layer(even with the transparency on}..
U cud see the image below and i am trying altering the parameters with no 
success as of now
