[OpenLayers-Users] programatically doing a feature udapte

Hello list,
I am already using geoserver as WFS-T but I don not know how could I do a feature update.
I just want to take a specific feature(point) from one of my layers and change their attributes and finally save it through the wfs-t.
Could you please give me any tip, example of how could I do this?
