[OpenLayers-Users] lost zoom wheel with jquery

Greetings all,

I'm trying to implement the jQuery UI.Layout plugin which can be found here
  http://plugins.jquery.com/project/Layout.<http://plugins.jquery.com/project/Layout>
Everything seems to work fine except zooming with the wheel doesn't work.
Any ideas?
