[OpenLayers-Users] Write text on a map

Hi all!

I would like to add a functionality to my application that allows the user  
to write free text directly on the map (in fact, on a layer added for  
this). But I didn't find any example showing a such functionality!

Does anyone know if it is possible? Any tips? Working with label or  
something like this might be a possibility?
