[OpenLayers-Users] Web interface ideas for for selection from one layer using a feature selected in another.

I want the user to be able to select a polygon from one layer and then 
use that as a filter to select point or lines from another. Programming 
with WFS is straightforward enough but setting UI on web for a non-GIS 
user isnt. I dont suppose people can point me at OL web sites that 
implement this for good ideas on implementing this?
