[OpenLayers-Users] A lot of points to load on map-a better solution

Why so many points?  That is more points than dots on your monitor....

I am using a douglas-peukert algorithm to reduce the point count on my 
chart on the server side.  This reduces my file size by 90% with no 
particularly noticeable loss of detail.
