[OpenLayers-Users] Query filtering

Hi,

I use postgres as vector data source, I would like to know how I can create
filters to my layer.
eg: 
In postgres I have this fields "id" "name", how I can add in openlayer two
selects, one with "id" values and other with "name" values in order to
filter my layer?
