[OpenLayers-Users] How to delete Feature - point or line (marker)

This has a long history in OpenLayers.

An easy way would be to use:
http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/browser/sandbox/topp/geoext/lib/OpenLayers/Control/DeleteFeature.js?rev=7372
