[OpenLayers-Users] Bug when switching between google street to google satellite.

This happens from time to time when google releases a new version of their api.

To stop that happening specify a specific version in your google api call;

i.e.  <script type="text/javascript"
src="http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false&v=3.6"></script>

That solved it for me.
